PURPOSE:
The University Libraries pride themselves on being a hub of student activity and a public service bulletin board is a logical extension of this. This policy defines the posting and maintenance guidelines for bulletin boards at University Libraries locations.
LOCATIONS:
Bulletin board location may vary by library location.
STATEMENT (DISCLAIMER) TO APPEAR AS HEADING ON BULLETIN BOARDS:
Public Bulletin Board courtesy of the University Libraries.
NOTE: All posts will be removed on the last Friday of each month regardless of the date of the post.
Restriction: Posts larger than an 8 1/2 x 11 inch sheet will be removed, and only one copy of an announcement may be posted on the bulletin board.
MAINTENANCE:
Libraries' Facilities staff or assigned staff will remove all posts from the boards on the last Friday of each month or at the time designated by the local campus practices.
STATEMENTS OF CONCERN:
If any Penn State Community member or Pennsylvania resident who has a current Penn State University Libraries library account wishes to make a statement of concern regarding any material, space, art, etc., they should contact any Penn State University Libraries location.
