Rooms and Spaces

Quiet Study Room (204 ECORE)

Whiteboard tables, as well as tables with outlets, chairs, Whiteboard walls and a charging station. In addition we offer puzzles, games. coloring sheets, legos and fidget toys for use in the room. While this room cannot be reserved, it is used occasionally for library classes or events.

Group Study Rooms

There are 5 Group study rooms in ECoRE : 133, 248, 249, 322, 333. They can be reserved by any current Penn State undergraduate and graduate students, staff, and faculty. Reservations need to be made in Outlook Calendar. Click on the day and search for the building and location. ECoRE Bldg brings up a list of available rooms. You will receive an email if your reservation is approved.

Reservations for rooms in ECoRE are controlled by the College of Engineering, not the library. If you have questions or issues reserving a room, contact coefacilities@engr.psu.edu.

Textbooks and Course Reserves

We've updated the way we process Course Reserves for the Engineering Library. In the past, we used the bookstore to get lists of materials to place on reserve. Now, we use the Engineering Library Course Reserve Request Form for you to submit your requests. Please note that if we do not receive a form from you for your class(es), they will not be on reserve.

We also ask that you let the students in your class(es) know that these resources are available for free at the library. If you have questions about Engineering Library Course Reserves, please contact Amy Miller at arm107@psu.edu.

Scan, Copy and Print

Our library has a KIC Click Mini Scanner with document feeder in our Study Room (204). You can send a .pdf via email or save it to a flash drive (if more than 20 pages). Flash drives are available at the desk. While we do not have a printer in the Engineering Library, there are 2 WEPA printers in the building, in rooms 132 and Room 514.
