Heather came to the libraries in 2001. Since then she has moved from Acquisitions to Social Sciences to Maps & GIS.
As a child and then as a sailor, she used maps constantly but didn't get into geography until 2013. She is a map specialist helping patrons find physical and digital cartographic information like maps and aerial photos. Heather has also learned GIS which she uses to create finding aids for maps.
