The University Libraries is committed to providing resources for all citizens of Pennsylvania. Our library serves as a Statewide Library Resource Center (SLRC) along with:
This program was established when the PA Library Code was passed in 1961, creating a network of public libraries, district library centers, and regional resource centers – now known as Statewide Library Resource Centers.
As part of this program, the University Libraries receives funding from the state to support various library operations and services including:
- Collections
- Interlibrary Loan and resource sharing
- Borrowing for PA residents
- On-site access
