The purpose of this fund shall be to support and enhance the University Libraries by providing monies for the development and/or purchase of textbooks and other student resources and materials supporting the University Libraries Textbook and Open Educational Resources program, or successor or similar program.

Bendapudis support students and community with gift reflecting their passion
As Penn State plans for its next comprehensive fundraising campaign, University President Neeli Bendapudi and her husband, Venkat Bendapudi, have stepped forward with a leadership gift to champion areas aligned with their passions, benefiting both students and the wider community. Their $250,000 commitment will be directed primarily to the University Libraries, the Center for the Performing Arts, and Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS).
