The purpose of this endowment shall be to support and enhance the University Libraries by providing monies for, but not necessarily limited to: additional support for libraries materials; purchases of databases, software, equipment, licenses, and other technologies needed to meet the information needs of University Libraries' users; purchase of intact special collections; preservation of endangered materials; mounting of appropriate resources on the World Wide Web.
