The purpose of this endowment shall be to support and enhance the University Libraries by providing monies for, but not necessarily limited to, the following areas as related to the School of Information Sciences and Technology: the purchase of books and other libraries materials; purchase of databases, software, equipment, licenses, and other technologies needed to meet the information needs of the University Libraries' users; support for research, scholarly activity or service to the profession and/or professional development; and program activities such as student assistantships or internships, speakers, seminars, travel or publications.
