Accessible Entrances
There are two; both are located on the Lower Level, at our Main Entrance and one faces the Smith Building.
Wheelchairs
There is one available by request at the Service Desk.
Elevators
There is one located inside the Main Entrance on the Lower Level.
Restrooms
Located on First Floor by Main Entrance, and Second Floor inside Lobby Doors.
Accessible Workstations
There are 21 accessible workstations in the main area of the library. There are also two located in the Mac Lab in Room 211 as well as in Room 203. Room 202 has 24 accessible stations.
Sensory and Neurodiversity Support
The following resources are offered by Penn State Altoona's Office for Student Disability Resources:
- Student Disability Resources - Health and Wellness Center (located on the Lower Level, Room 128)
- The Student Success Center (located on Lower Level)
ADA Accessible Parking
There are nine ADA parking spaces in the Hawthorne Lot as well as four located in the Misciagna Lot. Both are the closest parking lots to the library.
Public Transit
