Textbooks and Reserves

Open Reserves

These books are shelved in a separate section out on the main floor in call number order. The books do not need to be checked out to use them in the library. The material may be borrowed for two hours or overnight by coming in two hours before the library closes.

Closed Reserves

Books placed on Closed Reserve are kept behind our circulation desk. Students cannot browse these shelves but they can check them out for two hours or overnight. If you place your own personal copies of books in the library for your students to use, they must be placed on Closed Reserve.

When placing books on reserve, please indicate whether you prefer the books be placed on Open or Closed Reserve.
