Garden Apartments

Hajjar designed a grouping of garden apartments opposite the Corl Street School for Byron Bloomfield, a professor at Penn State. Like his houses, the apartments feature window walls and a patio or deck for each unit.

Also as in his homes, the design emphasized horizontal lines, illustrated in the banks of windows and railings on the decks. The Hajjar family lived in one of the units after selling their first home and before completion of Hajjar House II on nearby Robin Road.
