The Special Collections Library Reading Room will be closed May 6-8 for employee development. Our exhibition, "Where Beauty's At:" Expressions of Black Visual Culture," will remain publicly available during business hours. Please send any questions or inquiries to spcollections@psu.edu.

Beginning January 22, 2024, The Elisabeth S. Blissell Library will temporarily be located in Conference Center 51.

• Course reserves, media equipment, and anatomical models will be available for checkout, but our regular book collection will not.
• You are able to request books from other campuses. Please contact a member of our Library Staff for help at https://libraries.psu.edu/directory/newkensington.

Our library building is currently being renovated. Library services are available via Dawson 10 through May 2024. While our Graphic Novel, Leisure Reading and DVDs, and Course Reserves are available on site, the majority of our books are unavailable and you won't be able to place holds on those items via the Libraries Catalog. Please contact our library staff to discuss ordering those items through Interlibrary Loan.  Read the Penn State News announcement for details about our renovation.
