James E. and Gail Scherrer Arnold Libraries Program Endowment

The purpose of this endowment shall be to support and enhance the University Libraries by providing monies: for the purchase of books, databases, electronic publications, journals, and other libraries materials. No less than 25% of annual income in any given fiscal year shall be for the purchase of materials for the collection; for the purchase of databases, software, equipment, licenses, and other technologies needed to meet the information needs of University Libraries' users; to enhance the training of Libraries' faculty and staff for implementation of technology purchases; and, to support research, scholarly activity or service to the profession, and/or professional development.
