Office Delivery Service

The office delivery service lets faculty, staff and graduate students at University Park request delivery of library materials to their departmental address via campus mail.

Who is eligible for the office delivery service?

Faculty, staff and graduate students at University Park (with library accounts in good standing) are eligible for the office delivery service. This also includes full-time technical service staff who have a delivery location.

How do I participate in the service?

In order to participate in the office delivery service, faculty, staff and graduate students must have a My Library Account and an ILLiad Account. To ensure proper delivery of materials, review your address information in both library accounts. Please note that we cannot ship to residential addresses on campus; the mailing address provided must be an office or department mailing address. In ILLiad, select “UP Faculty/Staff/Grad Office Delivery” as your loan pickup location in your user profile.

How do I request materials through office delivery?

  • University Libraries’ items: Upon locating a circulating, available item in the Libraries’ collection, select the “I Want It” button to place a hold and select “UP Faculty/Staff/Grad Office Delivery” for the pickup location.
  • ILL items:  Materials requested in ILLiad will be delivered to the address listed in your ILLiad profile. To ensure accurate and efficient delivery, select “UP Faculty/Staff/Grad Office Delivery” as your pickup location and provide your current departmental address.

When will my items be delivered?

Arrival times for office delivery items vary. Once a hold is placed or an ILL item is requested, it can take several days for the items to arrive. If you have questions about your requests, please contact ILL by calling 814-865-3480 or by sending an email to

Items can be returned at any University Libraries location, or returned via campus mail to the Interlibrary Loan department, 504 Paterno Library.
