Book Title
Food Politics: How the Food Industry Influences Nutrition and Health
Book Description
This book inspired me to become a researcher and to create scientific evidence that can be used to counter corporate greed. Using a critical lens, Dr. Nestle provides a historical, first-person account of how corporate interests influence food policy, federal nutrition research agendas, and the food that reaches our tables. I hope that it inspires others to view food equity as health equity and to consider daily acts, including gardening, which I study, as resistance against corporate greed.
