This book, the first of a quintet, reimagines the tale of King Arthur through the eyes of the wizard Merlin. Blending history and fantasy, it, along with other beloved books borrowed from the fantasy and science fiction sections of the Lakewood Public Library, helped to instill in me a sense of wonder at the magical worlds that exist within books and to build a lifelong love of reading.
