This volume of the papers presented at the meeting are all seminal to the field and are a must read for any scientist interested in chronobiology. Each time I read the papers I find new insight, as many of the predictions made in 1960 currently become verified or hypotheses that had been made at the meeting are reinforced with new experimental findings.
