Laptops and iPod nanos are available to Libraries' faculty and staff. You must present a valid PSU ID. Loan period is for one week. Longer loans are available under special circumstances.
Usage guidelines: The laptops and iPods fall under the guidelines for University equipment and are subject to University policies for tangible assets (HR91, FN14) and your reason for using a laptop or iPod must be work related.
Reserve or request a laptop or iPod by calling I-Tech (865-2378) or by stopping by E102 Paterno.
There are 6 laptops and 4 iPod nanos available. To borrow a laptop or iPod you must complete a "Request for Authorization to Use University Tangible Assets at a Non-University Location" (staff only) form in person.
You are responsible for the laptop and iPod. Do not leave laptops or iPods unattended. Report any hardware or software problems to I-Tech.
Upon return, all laptops are re-imaged and all iPods are reformatted. Any files saved to the laptop or iPod during use are deleted and cannot be retrieved. Always make copies of your work before returning the laptop and iPod.
