Libraries 2020 – Inspiring new spaces for inspired learning! The renovation and expansion of Pattee Library and Paterno Library will help ensure that our services and physical spaces meet the changing learning, teaching and research needs of our users by expanding student group study and collaboration spaces, improving overall movement through the libraries and creating state-of-the-art hubs for teaching, learning and research.

"Many years of planning, benchmarking and thoughtful discussions have gone into this effort, which we consider the signature project of our Libraries 2020 Vision for Innovation because we feel it exemplifies the forward-looking vision we have for supporting students’ academic success in all our spaces across the University.  We are excited by the prospect of completing a greatly needed phase of Pattee Library's expansion and innovation, to not only improve movement through our largest library, but also to give University Park students more spaces to pursue academic studies, develop entrepreneurial concepts and provide equity of access for hands-on experience with emerging technologies.”
