Biographical / Historical

The United Steelworkers is is the largest industrial labor union in North America comprised of over 1.2 million members and retirees strong in the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. Headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the USW represents men and women who work in nearly every industry including primary and fabricated metals, chemicals, glass, rubber, heavy-duty conveyor belting, tires, transportation, utilities, container industries, pharmaceuticals, call centers and health care. They have a presence in the United Kingdom, Ireland, England, Scotland, Mexico and many other places around the world.
