Jill Cataldi

About Me

Jill joined the Lartz Memorial Library staff at Penn State Shenango in March 2018. She currently serves as the Outreach and Engagement Coordinator and oversees course reserves and the serial collection, is a Tech Liaison and an Open Liaison, and she manages the Library’s social media accounts as part of communication and outreach. She also assists with collection development and is a front-line contact as part of lending services.

Jill is currently a co-chair of Commonwealth Campus Libraries Supervisor Action Team (CCL-SAT) and a co-chair of the DEIA program for the Strategic Plan Implementation Team. She is also a member of SAT-STEER, the Dean's Library Council (DLC), and the Libraries Staff Advisory Council (LSAC). Previously she has actively participated in Safe Return to Work and Wellness Day planning groups and most recently served as co-chair of the Diversity Community of Advocacy (DCOA). At Penn State Shenango, Jill is a member of the campus Staff Advisory Council (SAC) and Staff Appreciation Committee.

A graduate of Penn State Shenango with a degree in Letters, Arts, and Sciences, Jill also holds a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Math 7 – 12 from Youngstown State University. She has taught math at local high schools and spent several years as an online math teacher. Jill performs with local community theaters, is a huge Disney fan (spent a summer working in Disneyland), and is a proud fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins!
