The purpose of this endowment shall be to support and enhance the University Libraries by providing monies for the following: purchase of books and other libraries materials; purchase of databases, software, equipment, licenses, and other technologies needed to meet the information needs of University Libraries' users; enhance the training of Libraries' faculty and staff for implementation of technology purchased; and, support for research, scholarly activity or service to the profession, and/or professional development.
