The purpose of this endowment shall be to support and enhance the University Libraries by providing monies for programs and initiatives of the Tombros McWhirter Knowledge Commons. The Knowledge Commons is a state-of-the-art facility that brings together the familiar resources of a world class library with technologies that enable new modes of teaching and learning.
