The purpose of this endowment is for the purchase of books, databases, electronic publications, journals, and other libraries materials. No less than 25% of the annual income in any given fiscal year shall be for the purchase of materials for the collections; the purchase of databases, software, equipment, licenses, and other technologies needed to meet the information needs of the University Libraries' users; to enhance the training of Libraries' faculty and staff for implementation of technology purchased; and to support research, scholarly activity or service to the profession, and/or professional development
