The purpose of this endowment is to support and enhance the University Libraries by providing monies for the purchase of libraries materials, databases, software, equipment, licenses, and other technologies needed to meet the information needs of the Libraries' users, purchase of intact special collections, preservation of endangered materials, and mounting of appropriate resources on the World Wide Web.
