Kirschner Family Libraries Endowment in Jewish Studies and Business

The purpose of this endowment is to support and enhance the University Libraries by providing monies necessary to furnish library services and materials tailored to the disciplinary areas of Jewish Studies and Business. These expenditures may include, but are not limited to, the purchase of books and other library materials to support Jewish Studies and Business. the purchases should reflect important current trends in the discipline, placing special emphasis on a wide variety of books, ongoing subscriptions, microfilm, and computer-based formats. The spending from this endowment should also support the collections activities of the subject bibliographer(s) in the discipline. Purchases made in the area of Jewish Studies will be done in consultation with the faculty member holding the Chair in Jewish Studies to support the work of the chair holder.
