Facilities Administration

The Facilities Administration Department was established in 1989 to perform all facilities planning and design, including new construction and renovation, and to manage all facilities maintenance, safety, security and telecommunications requirements and programs within the Penn State University Libraries at University Park and all of the campus locations around the state. We plan, initiate and track progress of all facilities-related work for the University Libraries. We are also the liaison between the University Libraries and the Offices of Physical Plant and Telecommunications, as well as other Penn State departments, building professionals, contractors, and vendors relating to the facilities projects and programs within the University Libraries.
