RefWorks help guides:

You can import records directly into RefWorks from ProQuest, Ovid, and CSA databases, Google Scholar, and many more — see the whole list here.

RefWorks supports more than 600 import filters, allowing you to export citations from databases not allowing direct export.

Write-N-Cite

Write-N-Cite allows you to easily cite references and create formatted bibliographies connected to a Word document. More information and help documentation for using Write-N-Cite is available from RefWorks here.

To access Write-N-Cite (from on- or off-campus locations):

  • Download and install Write-N-Cite on your computer.

    • Select "Penn State" the drop-down menu and click the Login button
    • Log in with your Penn State access id and password.
